Driver Application
Utah Touge 2026 Driver Registration
The Third Annual Utah Touge is upon us once again.
Due to the high demand and limited number of available driver positions, participation is by application and selection. Submission of an application does not guarantee acceptance into the event.
Drivers will be selected using the following criteria:
Vehicle Presentation
Overall appearance and presentation of the vehicle.
Cars with complete, matching body panels and a finished appearance will receive priority consideration.
Vehicles with significant body damage, mismatched panels, or unfinished exterior work may be placed lower on the selection list.
Driver Skill Level
Demonstrated driving ability.
Previous competition experience.
Ability to safely operate at the pace required for Utah Touge.
UDC Participation History
Familiarity with Ultimate Drifting Challenge events and procedures.
Previous participation in UDC events may be considered during the selection process.
Driver Pool Seniority
How long you have been an active member of the UDC driver pool.
Earlier applicants and long-term supporters may receive priority consideration when all other factors are equal.
Safety Requirements
Safety remains the highest priority for Utah Touge. The continuation of these events depends on maintaining the highest possible safety standards.
All accepted vehicles must meet the following minimum requirements:
Vehicle Requirements
Full FD-spec roll cage.
Properly mounted racing seat.
FIA or SFI approved harness system in good condition.
Functional fire extinguisher or fire suppression system.
Secure battery mounting and protected terminals.
No fluid leaks.
Vehicle must pass technical inspection prior to participation.
Driver Safety Equipment
All drivers are required to wear the following during every run:
Helmet
Neck support device
Arm restraints
Drivers who fail to wear required safety equipment will not be permitted on course.
